Ever since the age of two and tutus, dance has been a primal love and reason in Amber’s life. Born and raised in the Quad City area of Illinois, rich in live arts, her spark ignited quickly for theatre after being cast in her first musical. From then on, Amber spent the rest of her days in middle school and through high school embarking on as many possible opportunities to work with fellow artists. Having the aspect of performance and music from an early age in life, not only would shape how Amber would work but eventually helped determine who she would be as a person.​ She prides herself in being a patient & kind, energetic and creative force in the room and remains eager to learn, collaborate and try new things!

Amber is now celebrating her first decade as a theatrical performer and is blessed to have been involved in over 50 productions taking stages across the Midwest! She is currently in the BFA program at Western Illinois University where she also participates in the University Dance Company and the Gallery Players Improv troupe. As an artist, Amber especially enjoys telling a story that will challenge the status quo. On stage, she never shies away from a challenge and has been known to shift roles mid-process to fill a void where needed. Some of her favorite roles have included Eve (Children of Eden), Liesl (The Sound of Music) and Catherine (Pippin).

In addition to being under the lights, in recent years Amber has played her hand at other roles in the theatre where she has found more joy than expected. Working onstage is her passion but there is something so special about getting to share the craft with our youth! Amber has choreographed for Youth Theatre productions in the QCA and has loved the process of creating then teaching. She has also costumed youth shows, served as crew member running lights and mentored for The Penguin Project of the Quad Cities which works to highlight a wide range of abilities.
